Digital photo workshop teacher wanted for Waxter Senior Center…

The Waxter Senior Center, located in the Mount Vernon neighborhood, is seeking a volunteer to teach digital photography to the clients at the Waxter Center. Our Photo Department  Chair, Colette, has an ongoing relationship with the Center and encourages those interested to apply. This a volunteer opportunity (not paid & doesn’t qualify for internship credit). The position is voluntarily teaching a digital photography class to senior citizens which could be rewarding to approach as a personal project, and to gain experience teaching senior adults. This would be a great accomplishment to add to your personal resumé. For more information about the Waxter Center, please visit their Facebook page link below:

Waxter’s mission:
Waxter Center is committed to creating and fostering opportunities for seniors.  The lifelong learning in retirement offers intellectual stimulation and networking opportunities for people who share an interest in continuing to learn.”
