New Image Art is pleased to present WITH YOUa group exhibition curated by Theresa Chromati featuring work byFaith CouchDerrick AdamsElliott Jerome BrownJrNaudline PierreAlexandria Smith, Devin N. MorrisYetunde Olagbaju, and GraceLynne

Theresa Chromati often explores partnership by capturing community in her work. In this group exhibition, “With You” Chromati has chosen works that focus on various forms of partnership from several artists. Chromati is interested in ways artists view partnership through conversation, support, and relationship. For example, Elliott Jerome Brown Jr,TBD (Kenny on the Hill), one distant figure that exhibits partnership between the images themselves. Although there are multiple images, they work together to illustrate time within a single setting. Additional works contribute examples of conversation, such as two arms depicted mirroring one another arranging a call and response in Beach Series, No Iby Faith Couch.

Each piece of work supports one another forming dialogue that welcomes you in, creating a partnership between audience and artists as well.

Faith Couch was born in Durham, North Carolina in 1997. Couch works predominantly in the medium of photography and video art. Her work highlights themes dealing with race, gender, sexuality and nationality. Couch is currently attending Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore MD, where she will complete her Bachelors of Fine Art in Photography.

An opening reception for the artists will be held on Sat, November 4th, from 7 to 10 pm
