Editorial Assistant / Intern
Location: Amsterdam

LensCulture, an international photography/arts organization and award-winning internet platform, with editorial offices now based in Amsterdam, seeks a hard-working, detail-oriented person to develop editorial content, manage and grow social media communities, and plan local and international events and workshops.

You will work directly with the editor-in-chief and the editorial team to help manage all aspects of this dynamic business. We’re looking to add a new member to our team to contribute to our ongoing success and growth.

You must have excellent English writing and editing skills, fluency with social media, and be passionate about photography and the visual arts. You will be in contact daily with international photographers, museum curators, festival directors, journalists, contributing writers, photo editors, educators, videographers and visual storytellers. Knowledge of photo and video editing programs is a plus. Proofreading and correcting all text in English is an important part of this job.

This is an ideal position for a current student or recent graduate in journalism, communications, marketing, photography or media. This internship requires a commitment of 16-24 hours per week, for a minimum of 3 to 4 months. You will gain valuable experience in this state-of-the-art media business, and become part of a very fun and influential international network of photography experts.
